Fall Food Swap 2025 was a small but mighty group! We had the luxury of sitting down to a meal with each other and sharing life around the table. As usual, tasty ideas and treats were presented and loved by all!

While we're in this cold, dreary Seattle "trying to be winter" season....I thought I'd share a post from one of my favorite blogs Food in Jars, that has some helpful info on turning those frozen gems of summer into something tasty! You may or may not share my sentiment that canning is a "cozy" activity, but Frebruary is *National Canning Month*, so maybe now's the time?!? If not willing to go as far as canning, you can make some delicious treats to eat now and share with others--anything to perk us up during this depressing state of existence (I'm referring more here to our disintegrating fabric of American democracy and social safety)!!

Valentine's brought a twist on the typical food swapping event...we created food gifts as well as some other crafty giftables. Along with themed bites and drinks, it was SUCH a fun time!

Winter begs for soup swapping ☺️. We were so engaged in our swap and sharing a delicious meal together....we kinda forgot to take any photos! But I can assure you many different amazing homemade soups were traded....and without really trying, our vegetarian friends still came out winners!
