News from The Fire —
After 7 fantastic years of working together, we are bidding a fond farewell to our bandmate, Adam Hendey.
We are extremely proud of what we have achieved during Adam’s time with us in The Fire. Highlights have included recording six studio albums together, and touring across the USA from California to Alaska to New York. It has been a pleasure to make music together, and we wish Adam all the very best as he settles down with his lovely wife Frannie in Boston.
As many of you know, The Fire was founded by duo Rebecca Lomnicky & David Brewer and we will continue to carry the torch. Over the next few months, Rebecca will be finishing her PhD in Ethnomusicology and David will be pursuing an independent solo project.
Stay tuned for future news from The Fire — we’ll see you down the road!

THAT’S A WRAP! The Fire’s Very Scottish Christmas 2022 tour was a great success! Thank you so much to everyone across the West Coast who came out to see the show! It has been so special to celebrate the season with you over the last four weeks. All of the cast members have now made it home for the holidays to enjoy time with their families. Thank you to each and every one of you for your support, and MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! 🎄✨🎶🔥

Thank you, Seattle! What a fantastic place to end our tour! You all are great singers and clappers and we loved having you join in with us all night long. Thank you for braving the snowy weather, wearing your festive attire, and coming out for our first performance at the beautiful Rainier Arts Center. Thank you, Corvallis! We had a wonderful night at the stunning CHS Performing Arts Center. It always means so much to all of us to perform in Rebecca’s hometown and connect with our longtime supporters in the area. Thank you so much for coming out in droves to celebrate the season with us! The Fire’s Very Scottish Christmas tour ends tonight with our final show in Seattle. We’re going out in style at the Rainier Arts Center so come down and get festive with us! Thank you, Coos Bay, for a wonderful evening! It was such a treat to perform at the historic Egyptian Theatre — a beautiful space which was originally built in 1925. Cheers to everyone on Oregon’s south coast for bringing your Christmas spirit and singing along with us! Tonight the tour continues in Corvallis, OR — Rebecca’s hometown! Last night at the Aladdin Theater was one for the record books!!! ✨ Thank you so much to everyone in Portland who came out and celebrated the season with us. It was truly so special for us to play at the most iconic venue in the City of Roses, and your constant cheering and clapping absolutely made the night for us!
