Lauren Whitesides is a watercolor artist and illustrator who draws inspiration from the vast wilderness that surrounds us. Through her paintings, she explores the gentleness of the earth through the eyes of the creatures who wander it. Themes of strength, solitude, death, and peace paint the papers through her brush. Currently, Lauren is working on receiving her BFA from Cornish college of the Arts where she is continuing to explore the complex relationship that humans share with the natural world.

Exciting new things are coming to Nuflours! As of this month, Nuflours is starting art installations at our Capitol Hill location. Our current featured artist is Lauren Whitesides, a watercolor artist who’s work focuses on animals and the earth.
