“ ‘a flower again’
a blooming began in my carpeted tucked away 1-bedroom apartment of north hollywood.
my soil dense with motherhood, grief, love, music.
as i water that soil, i discover an expansive world blooming beyond myself, before myself, after myself.
and now i see.
together i.
together we.
become
a flower again. “

Studio 7117 has always been a sanctuary for BIPOC artists, women survivors, and their families—a place where everyone can feel safe and truly be themselves. Unfortunately, our beloved space was recently burglarized, leaving us heartbroken and vulnerable. Essential community items were stolen, and despite our efforts, we’ve received little support from building management. We’re asking for your help to restore our studio, replace what was lost, and install security measures to protect our community. Your support means the world to us as we work to heal and rebuild this space that so many call home. Please like, comment, and share this post to help us spread the word and bring Studio 7117 back to life. Thank you for standing with us during this difficult time.
Commumity ask:
- donate to our gofund me
- searching for a tv for an upcoming event at the studio with an artist partner by saturday
- provide spiritual cleansing in our studio or energetic healing to the owners (myself and Devyn Pedrano-Snow)
Thank you all for supporting us during this rough time.

Join us Thursday { february art walk } for an exhibit: myswamp by Zoe Camille, an emerging Khmer contemporary artist. Ink illustrations, crochet, and clay sculpture communicate the waves of muddiness and clarity that come with exploring the culture lost to greed and abuse of power. Viewer discretion is advised as there will be topics of war and death.

— for illustrations + crochet & clay installation
— for Tea + Herbal Apothecary
— for cocktails, mocktails, and wine
— for permanent jewlery + tooth gems

We're expressing gratitude to one of our f/w '25 interns who supported logistics, administration, and ops behind the scenes here at .7117 .
Please read her intention with working with 7117: "I first heard about Studio 7117 from a gentleman who attended a Khmer New Year event at UW Seattle. I offered my business card to him in case they ever wanted to work with an artist at one of their own CACCWA events, but he immediately thought of you two. After meeting you through email and reading about who you guys are on your website, I am very excited to make a new connection to people who are both in the Khmer community, as well as the art community. I find that you share an intuitive sense of balancing both internal and external aspects of creation in a world that, though the priorities of society may not portray it, desperately needs creatives. I am very curious about how you two will initiate progress on this exciting path."
Perry on creativity + wellness: "Creativity and wellness are closely intertwined in my practice. While I still find it difficult to fully articulate, I know that creativity is what breeds the wealth of wellness that I need as I take on responsibilities. My craft has grown into mediums that are inherently meditative and tactile, especially in response to a world that tends to rely on digital mediums. Though this isn't to say that something as easy to access as information online is any less real, I still believe that artistic craft deserves a place in every format possible in order to fulfill one of our most human needs: making."

The new year at .7117 calls for new blessings.
7117's went to the motherland to receive a protection yantra for the studio space.
It was handdrawn with Pali, chanted and blessed over, and holds such power.
As we cleaned and cleared the creative studio, put up the yantra. We placed our altar underneath it and Angkor Wat photograph from and next to our custom A-Frame from brother .
Praying and setting new intentions at the altar together is something we don't take lightly. We are so honored to walk this journey in marriage, parenthood, and business.
We hope you continue to follow the new works from 7117. 🙏🏽🦚

Gratitude for those who supported our non - perishable food drive during our last art walk x 7117 night market of 2025—— You helped kickstart a collaboration with Hoa Mai Preschool in the Southend for their winter food pantry!
As you know, Studio 7117 is family-run and to support other families in need during these cold months is important + meaningful!
Hoa Mai is a Vietnamese bilingual preschool in South Seattle. They are the first Vietnamese-English dual-language child development center in the Northwest. Hoa Mai celebrated 10 years as a preschool and 10 years of partnership with the Seattle Preschool Program as a pilot program.
We are grateful to continue to build with an organisation that truly supports the youth and their families. Thank you to the 7117 community for showing up on a cold night for art walk and bringing your canned goods + donations to something bigger than yourself.
