The Laurelhurst Community Center is conveniently located near the University District, just minutes from downtown Seattle.

View the City’s policies at www.seattle.gov/digital. The Laurelhurst Community Center boasts beautiful hilltop views of Lake Washington and the surrounding neighborhood. A large, attractive park with a playground, tennis courts and open field space for outdoor receptions surrounds the center.

Still space available! Get ready for an exciting evening of action, laughter, and quality family time! This event is designed for all ages and skill levels — so bring the whole crew! We will feature sports such as Basketball, volleyball, they're soccer, dodgeball, pickleball, badminton and many more... Whether you're competing in one of our organized games or just having fun shooting baskets with your family, there's something for everyone. Location: Laurelhurst Elementary Gym (4530 46th Ave NE, Seattle, WA 98105 ). Doors open at 5:15pm. Entrance on 47th Street. Parent or caregiver must be present during the event.

Our prehistoric Adventure is happening in a few weeks! Spots are going fast, so register soon. Join us Wednesday, June 17th from 4:00pm-6:30pm to experience some dinosaur fun at this one-day event for children ages 2.5-10 years old! You’ll enjoy indoor arts and crafts, outdoor activities such as Dino egg soccer, and dinosaur egg excavation. Don't forget to pose for a photo with our Skateboarding Dino! Parent or caregiver must be present during the event. Pre-registration is required! Cost is $12 per child.

Many Seattle Parks and Recreation facilities and programs will be closed Thursday, June 4, 2026, due to a Recreation Division staff training day.

Most indoor facilities will be closed, while parks, sprayparks, golf courses, Mounger pool, and select swim beaches will remain open.

Memorial Day Hours Reminder 🇺🇸
