Many people think back to April 2020 and remember an onset of stress, social distancing, and uncertainty. While we here at BDG share in much of that, we also remember it as the point in our evolution that Kate Miller joined our team. Despite joining us in uncertain times and having to get to know her colleagues, clients and consultants remotely, Kate has flourished. BDG has in turn flourished - the transformative growth of our skills, professionalism, and office culture has been a direct result of the extensive knowledge, experience, compassion and killer attitude Kate brings to our office. So for us, April 2020 will always have a bright spot in it! Happy work anniversary Kate we are so lucky to work with you!

With this movie den we wanted to create a stylish and inviting space that offers the perfect balance between daylight and darkness, allowing the attention to be drawn to the on-screen action and fostering a truly immersive movie-watching experience.

Strategically designed decks and outdoor living areas take advantage of the island's breathtaking views, providing the perfect spaces to relax and immerse in the serene surroundings. The careful placement of windows captures the views, bringing the beauty of nature directly into the living spaces.

With this space we wanted to beautifully showcase the client's extensive art collection. The minimalist design allows the focus to remain on the artful arrangement of their treasures, making the hallway a captivating gallery for visitors to their home.

By thoughtfully combining materials, we can craft an experiential journey for the users. The transition from teak shower floors to split pebbles not only adds visual interest but also helps to define separate zones within the bathroom, each with its unique character. The wood provides a natural, inviting feel in the shower, where one can relax and unwind while the pebble flooring in the sink area introduces a tactile and grounding element.

Designed to begin the day with invigorating sun salutations amidst the beauty of nature or end with a serene soak, this primary bath fosters the mind-body connection with a balance between modern luxury and nature-inspired tranquility.

Simplicity meets elegance. These two guest rooms exude serenity with their uncluttered design, allowing the breathtaking views to take center stage.

With this home theater we strove to create a space to entertain and observe. Brightened up by refined yet inviting nooks to unwind and be whisked away to other worlds, we wanted to craft a cinematic oasis where time can pause and classic films come to life.

This library is warm and cozy with intimate views of the nearby landscape. Adjacent to the primary bedroom, it provides an extension to their private living space or a secluded retreat in which to read, stare out the window, or take the occasional nap.
