Best banjo music in Hoodsport. All Memorial Day Weekend at the Flywheel Art gallery, an off-site distillery tasting room of the Hardware Distillery in Hoodsport. Also great cocktails and Art by April Ferry.

Today's the day for Fjordin Crossin! Join us for the parade, paddle and crossing and visit all our fantastic vendors on the beach and shore!

Event hours 11-3 PM-- wit the tide. Crossing at 1 PM.

This year looks like we will have ideal weather for the Fjordin Crossin & Paddle the Canal Challenge Saturday! Forecast is for sunshine & 75 degrees!

The event is family-friendly and FREE to attend (fee to enter the race). Come hungry, there will be lots of Scandinavian inspired food & we hope you check out all our vendors as well!

The 6th Annual Fjordin Crossin, hosted on the lower 48’s only saltwater fjord, embraces a Nordic tradition of Hardware Distillery Dill Aquavit “crossing the equator” (AKA the Hood Canal).

Experience a parade, register for the family-friendly paddle crossing or just enjoy drinks under the pier along with Northwest inspired foods while you check out activities & vendors displayed amongst the beach logs.

The incoming tide sends the celebration to higher ground to enjoy the after-party on Hoodsport’s main street.

Join us tonight in Union at Hood Canalé for our Fjordin Pizza Launch event -- 5:30 to 8 PM!

Did you know this free event includes food and drinks on the beach?

The Aquavit Grotto will be under the Hoodsport Dock. A perfect place to relax and watch the Paddle the Canal. A fun place to be! The Grotto is sponsored b and supports Mason County's The Salmon Center. The Salmon Center will have a booth nearby with educational information on being good stewards of our fjord

Hoodsport Winery will be hosting their locally made Pinot Gris, and other delicious wines will be served. Red wine from Stottle Winery will be also be available.

The Fjordin Crossin Scandinavian Farm House Ale brewed by Potlatch Brewing Co. will be available.

Cocktails from Distillery, include the popular Fjord Mist from Dill Aquavit and the Norski from Caradamom Aquavit, will be served again this year.
