THIS WEEK AT QUEST (June 8- June 14)
🎉Celebrating Pastor Brenda
After 14 years of faithful service at Quest — and over 40 years of pioneering ministry in racial justice, preaching, and pastoral care — Pastor Brenda is retiring from her staff role. On her last Sunday, June 14, we honor her with deep gratitude and joy as we recognize her with the title of Pastor Emerita.
Join us during and after our Sunday service to celebrate her together: we’ll have a receiving line, cake reception, and bear witness to her faithfulness over decades and to us at Quest. We invite you to come with kind words, a card, or whatever helps you to express honor.

I ask you to bless them with your peace. Amid tumultuous times, I pray they will remember, as Paul told the Ephesians, that you are our peace.“

What if we viewed Sabbath as not just a tool for survival, but as a proactive declaration of peace in a world that needs it?
Thank you Sr. Director Brandi for this word 🙏
Last Sunday, Director Chloe brought us back into the book of Luke with a word on trust, certainty and the weirdness of God’s kingdom.

Last weekend we had the joy and honor of celebrating Pastor Aaron Cho’s installation as the Lead Pastor of Quest Church. It was a weekend full of worship, friends and family (new and old), food (like, so much food), surprises, flash mobs, karaoke, storytelling, and celebration. We remembered Quest’s story and dreamed about our future.
Pastoral installation is never just about a Pastor — especially when your Pastor is Aaron Cho. It marks a new season in a community, an invitation to reflect on who we have been and who we are becoming together. We are becoming a community of deeper generosity, of more unabashed playfulness, of curiosity and thoughtfulness. We are pursuing hope, healing, wholeness, and a rootedness in the Holy Spirit.
We carry our time together with us in gratitude as we join Pastor Aaron, side-by-side, in the work of the church in Seattle and in the world. May it be so.
