Viewlands Elementary PTSA

👟 🚲 🛴 🚌 Viewlands celebrated another fantastic Walk, Bike, & Roll to School Day as we continued Orcas Move Week!

Students and families walked, biked, rolled, and bus/carpooled to reach school with movement, connection, and intention.

A HUGE thank you to our event sponsors and supporters! 💙
✨ + Seattle Public Schools Safe Routes to School program for providing helmets, locks, lights, bells, reflectors, bookmarks, and pencils to give away!

✨ Wombi for fueling our celebration with snacks, coffee, and event flyers! Wombi is also offering Viewlands families an exclusive 50% discount on the first 4-weeks of a new e-bike subscription! Scroll through the photos for the discount code.

✨ And a big shoutout to parents and community volunteers for helping make this joyful morning possible by leading walk/roll groups, bike bus routes, and our celebration table 😎

Did you SEE the new crosswalk flags at Greenwood Ave N / N 105th St intersection?

With support from and Safe Routes to School incentive program, our bike bus volunteers installed two sets of "see me" crosswalk flag sets at every corner of this busy intersection. This supports safer crossings for our students within the walk-zone of Viewlands.

We received 3 congratulations from passers going by 🙌

Next up: We have plans to install crosswalk flag sets at the busy intersection of Holman Ave / 3rd Ave NW. Stay tuned!
