They’ve known me as their photographer their whole lives 🥹 so when Mom said woods, I knew exactly where to take them…

Pretty photos are great, but I want the kids to have funnnn. Explore, play, make a mess, go somewhere cool they may not have otherwise. And honestly, make a day out of it because you can’t go to the river, ocean, an open field, a mountain top (you get it) and NOT play!?!? Criminal. 😉

I will never take for granted the families who choose me year after year. I get to know you, watch your lives blossom, your babies grow, and document all the moments in between.

But my favorite might be when my little friends finally start remembering me. Like, oh hey, it’s that lady with the camera again😄. After all, they’re what I’m here for. The joy, the chaos, the laughter, even the naughtiness and crying fits. I love it all. I want them to be free. I want them captured exactly as they are.

I’m just so grateful for this little side quest I went on seven years ago. SEVEN YEARS! Somehow, year after year, you guys keep coming back and I get to be part of it all. Pretty cool if you ask me.
