Ok, they didn't say all that...but..my client's contractor told them "no" when they asked for a larger kitchen island. The contractor told my clients that if they wanted a larger island they'd have to tear out the old one and replace it with a new one. That seemed too wasteful so we made a plan to expand the existing counter with butcher block! I love creative solutions to keep things out of the landfill. ♻️

The upgraded trash pullout with handless fronts gave extra functionality to the island as well.

I'm glad we didn't listen. Look at what we would be missin' :)

This may win an award for the coziest upgrade to a home! I love the bold colors my clients chose for the reading nook and fireplace surrounds (new custom radiator covers too!) Your ideal chilaxin' spot is just a few alterations away- a little casework, paint and lighting goes a long way.

Walnut bar and shelving. For bottles of alcohol. Not walnuts, just to be clear. The clients like that it looks like it has always been there. I agree and want a Manhattan now. 🥃 Cheers!

The Rolls-Royce of record consoles! Look at those sexy lines! This solid teak console features two giant pullout drawers for ease of browsing. Each drawer has slots for plexi dividers to keep your Chic separated from your Chicago, your Dylan from your Dokken, and so on.
The removable screen below hides your speakers and receiver, which has its own pullout shelf for easy access.

Kitchen project complete! This was a fun project to co-design with the lovely family who wanted to make a smart kitchen/dining area in their small space. Not only does it function well, but it feels bright and spacious.
The exposed edges give a nice contrast to the beautiful walnut and maple wood grain.

Test fitting these vinyl storage cabinets with a local album from . Good fit!
