The longer an item stays with me, the more stuff gets added🤣 This jacket has gained some star studs on the collar, a sequin/embroidered black tree and a couple of black kitty patches framed in hand crocheted trim. This jacket is going into my online SCRAPD store, so will have to be purchased from that site only🙂

This is how art on clothing begins for me. Sketching. With soap. So I can easily change details before adding paint/fabrics/embellishment.

This cute little skirt started out as Blackheart jeans from the Goodwill bins. Found a broken purse and decided to create a clip on bag for the skirt. Added hardware and created the straps from trim/ribbon to clip into installed metal grommets on the belt carriers. Bag can be worn on either side.

So far today, have done new hems on three special occasion dresses. This particular one is a 2nd hand gown for resale. I found this one in the bins, missing rhinestones and someone hand sewed the sides to make this dress smaller. I restored the original size, harvested extra stones near the hem and shortened it so the harvested edge was turned under. I will be reselling this Privy rhinestone dress size Large for $18👗

It's prom season. This dress needed a hem adjustment. 2 inches off the front , 6 off the sides, 10 off the back. I couldn't do it from the waistline as it's asymmetrical. So had to trim the base and every circular ruffle cascading down(all 24 of them). Then I had to edge every single ruffle to match the existing edges. This has officially been the most challenging hem I've ever had to tackle. Please clap.

Today, I got inspired by scraps on the cutting floor. Made this upcycled denim bracelet using a denim seam scrap, added star brads, salvaged necklace parts and a couple of snaps to create this fun accessory 🔄

It's Tuesday, here I am casually putting art onto clothing like the world isn't burning. Giving a Hurley coat a little attitude☠🧵
