Wenatchee just added a Strawberry Shortcake Sundae to its food court. Seattle-area locations might be next? 👀

Costco is reportedly rolling out a brand-new Strawberry Shortcake Sundae to select food court locations. The dessert features strawberry soft serve layered with strawberry sauce and topped with shortcake pieces for just $2.99.

According to the menu board, the sundae comes in at 750 calories and joins the food court lineup alongside the classic vanilla ice cream sundae and other frozen treats.

The new item appears to be part of Costco’s recent trend of rotating limited-time desserts after releases like the Double Chocolate Mint Sundae and Caramel Churro Sundae generated major buzz online. Fans are already calling this one a must-try summer treat thanks to the strawberry shortcake flavor combo and affordable price.

Availability may vary by warehouse as the rollout continues.

NOAA has a G3 storm warning in effect for June 4–5 with the Northern Lights potentially visible across Washington and all northern states tonight.

The catch for Seattle is the clouds. The west side is mostly socked in so your best move is to drive east over the Cascades toward Snoqualmie or Stevens Pass where the sky opens up.

Best window is 10PM to midnight before the moon rises and washes out the sky. Find a spot with a clear view north and as little light pollution as possible.

WA what do you think about this? Seattle is launching a first-of-its-kind drone scoreboard near the Space Needle after each of the 6 FIFA World Cup matches played in Seattle this summer.

Visit Seattle says the 12-minute drone show will display the flags of the competing countries and the final score following every match at Lumen Field.

The first show is scheduled for June 15 after Belgium vs. Egypt and will be free to watch at Seattle Center.

It has never been done before at a FIFA World Cup.

Surveillance footage released this week captures the moments leading up to the death of Quusaa “Q” Margarsa, a 25-year-old Growler Guys employee shot and killed inside the Lake City taproom on May 9.

A 20-year-old suspect has been charged with first-degree murder and has entered a not guilty plea. His defense is arguing self-defense. The footage is expected to be central evidence as the case moves forward.

A woman drove her car onto Seattle’s light rail tracks at Mount Baker Station Tuesday night after allegedly following GPS directions 😳

Witnesses say she told people at the scene the GPS directed her onto the tracks. The car had to be crane-lifted off the elevated guideway 30 feet above street level. (video credit )

WA what do you think about this? Seattle Mayor Wilson just announced 1,400 local youth will attend the FIFA World Cup 2026 for free! Each kid receives a match ticket, food voucher, and official World Cup gear. It’s the largest youth access program announced by any World Cup host city.
