We have a new coffee in stock & it’s a good one. Danche coffees are highly acclaimed coffees from the Danche village in the Chelbesa community of the Gedeb Woreda of the Yirgacheffe Region. Phew! This coffee from Blind Tiger features beans from the Kurume and Wolisho varietals and has been fermented for 96 hrs. then dried for two weeks on raised beds before shipping to the USA for roasting. Flavor notes include: lemon lime, nectarine, and coriander. Enjoy!

Just landed!: two, new Colombian coffees from !
1. El Pariaso Rose Tea: Castillo varietal, semi-washed with a double fermentation and a cold rinse to lock in flavor compounds. Flavor notes include: puffed wheat, soft florals, oolong tea, melon, and cream.
2. El Sendero Blackberry Honey: Caturra varietal, honey process with blackberry co-ferment. Yes, they included blackberries in the mix of freshly picked coffee cherries. 🙂 Flavor notes include: blackberry jam, lime, black tea.

Our current SOE is the Rwandan coffee, “Orange U Glad?”, roasted by . It’s notable citrus flavor notes inspired the coffee’s name and they really pop! Enjoy on its own or sub into any espresso based drink.

Good morning!
In spite of an unexpected rock thrown through our window last night we are open for our regular hours of 7a-6p for Analog & 8a-2p for . We’re very grateful no one was hurt and have decided to temporarily close the seating area nearest the broken window until we can get it replaced.
Special thanks to for notifying us of the broken window and keeping watch until we arrived. Huge thanks to for patching our window so soon asfter it was broken. We love our community and our neighbors. Thank you!

Our current offering is a Honduran coffee from Finca La Salsa, produced by with the SL-28 bean varietal. This coffee varietal is drought tolerant and yields a high quality cup. Additionally, Benjamin has placed in the Top 5 every year he’s entered his coffees into the Honduran Cup of Excellence competition. Congrats, Benjamin! Available on pour over and to take home as a whole bean coffee. Flavor notes include: peach, mandarin, honeysuckle. Cheers!

“Orange u glad” is back in stock with their “Orange U Glad” coffee? Orange you glad is a moniker to showcase coffees from countries bordering Lake Victoria in southeast Africa whose coffee can often exhibit strong citrus qualities.
This coffee from Rwanda was grown by JMV Usekanabagoyi and processed at the Ngoma washing station in the Nyamasheke District.
Expect flavor notes of ALL the citrus, caramel coated peach, & cotton candy.

Good morning! Our current SOE comes from our friends in Berkeley, ! This Guatemalan coffee from Finca El Socorro in Palencia is a washed bean of the Maracaturra variety. Our retail whole bean coffee sold out in three days but we still have the SOE available. Flavor notes include: Nougat, apple, chamomile. As our friend, Sam, says, “The nougat really comes out with milk.” He’s right!
