Inclusion is a passion of mine, and there are so many ways to create it. đź’Ż

Excited to share my tip that was featured today in a recent Forbes article titled “20 Common Ways Managers Can Create A Sense Of Alienation In Employees.”

It is human nature to gravitate towards individuals who share similar approaches and styles, inadvertently leaving out those who bring diverse perspectives. 

Here are a couple of tips to focusing on the outcomes:

1. Discuss as a group or pair what really needs to be accomplished. Document it.
2. Make an assumptions list to really uncover together what potentially is “unsaid”.
3. Get clear on your own feelings about the outcomes needed, so you can have that heightened awareness. (I help people do this all the time with coaching.)
