Originally created in Belltown in 2003, Marjorie pays homage to owner, Donna Moodie’s mother. Following Marjorie around the kitchen, Donna quickly gained respect for “cooking from scratch” with high quality ingredients. The kitchen at Marjorie uses the highest quality of ingredients, supporting local farmers and artisans whenever possible, reflecting the values that Marjorie instilled in her daughter’s youth. The handcrafted cocktails are quickly becoming a reputation building cornerstone of Marjorie. The unique décor, much of it handcrafted, results from a collaboration with SKB Architects, Metal Artists, Carla Grahn and Peter Reiquam and, of course Donna’s unique aesthetic. From the raw silk ceiling pillows to the wood floors and the art on the walls, Marjorie has a one of a kind look that has been lovingly created by hand. Hailed as the perfect private party spot, the Annex adds additional seating on busy nights at Marjorie.
