Most people think better AI results come from better prompts.
In 2026, that’s rarely the bottleneck.
The biggest improvements usually come from what you give the model, not how you talk to it. Here’s a practical framework you can use immediately.
A model doesn’t become smarter because you paste more information into the chat.
Every additional document competes for attention. Irrelevant information creates distraction, forcing the model to spend part of its reasoning on deciding what doesn’t matter.
Less context often produces better answers.
AI can draft almost anything.
That doesn’t mean everything should be merged, shipped, or published automatically.
The cost of a five-minute review is usually much lower than the cost of fixing one unnoticed mistake.
