To my fellow designers, know you’re worth in this industry and don’t settle for yarn as payment.

I have a little something up my sleeve with these beautiful Aussie skeins from Círculo Yarns. Can you guess what it will be?

☀️The Copa Crop Summer CAL is coming.

From June 8 through August 15, we’re making the Copa Crop together in the KnotBadBritt Discord, and the vibe is casual summer fun.

Think backyard BBQs, iced tea, watermelon, red solo cups, sunflowers, group hangs, dining alfresco, and a crochet tee you can actually wear all summer.

We’ll have:
* a cast-on party
* a live swatch demo
* help choosing colors
* Discord games
* progress check-ins
* a few ways to win prizes

Finish your Copa Crop for one prize entry. You can also earn bonus entries for using Juniper Moon Farm yarn from Knitting Fever and Euro Yarns, using yarn from a Flock Fiber Festival vendor, or grabbing a selfie with me at Flock, including our soon-to-be-scheduled group photo.

This is a low-pressure CAL. Join when you can. Crochet at your pace. Make the top your own.

Y’all, the Copa Crop crochet pattern is officially here!

This is my casual, easy-wearing crochet top of the summer: beginner friendly, made with DK weight cotton yarn, and constructed from simple rectangles for an effortless oversized boxy fit.

It’s size inclusive, adjustable to your preferred length, and very ready for warm-weather outfits, vacation packing, and “I made this and now I want to wear it immediately” energy. Seriously, I’ve worn mine a TON already!

My version is made with Cirrus yarn from Juniper Moon. What would you choose?

41% off for 41 hours?
Apparently this is what happens when I’m left unsupervised on my birthday.

To celebrate turning 41, I’m taking 41% off all patterns & bundles with code HAPPY41.

So go ahead.
Stock the queue.
Enable the group chat.
Become dangerously flush with patterns.

The sale is only live for 41 hours, which feels both festive and mildly unhinged — exactly as intended.

Use code HAPPY41 at checkout.

Birthday nonsense begins now. 🎉🧶

I’m teaching at Flock Fiber Festival this year!

And not just one class. THREE.

This year I’ll be teaching:

Texture that Pops: Advanced Crochet Textures
We’re getting into the good stuff: post stitches, bobbles, shells, puffs, and all the little choices that make crochet fabric feel dimensional and exciting.

Crochet Shawl Architecture: Shapes, Draping, and Shaping
This one is for the makers who want to understand why shawls behave the way they do. We’ll talk construction, shaping, drape, and how to make more intentional choices in your crochet.

Intro to Mosaic Crochet
Perfect if you’ve been curious about colorwork but want a technique that feels approachable, rhythmic, and deeply satisfying.

I’m so excited to be returning to Flock as a teacher and even more excited that this year’s lineup has so much crochet goodness in it.

If you’ve been wanting to build your crochet confidence, fill in some technique gaps, or spend time with other fiber folks who get it, I would love to see you in class.

Tickets/classes are available now through Flock Fiber Festival.

Come learn with me. Come ask questions. Come be delightfully nerdy about crochet.
