Happy lunar new year of the horse! 7 days from now, I'll be be playing at Hotel Utah Saloon in SF, on Wednesday, February 25th, with fellow Bay Area artists RNJ and Benny La Mar music to support Denver-based Nate Todd Music on his tour. Friends, you may remember my friend/writer Dao Strom and her music project The Sea & The Mother that went on tour with me along the California coast in 2015 and gave an unforgettable house concert hosted by yours truly in February 2020 right before the pandemic. Please support her and writers Aimee Phan, Angie Chau's She Who Has No Master/s, a writing-art collective of Vietnamese women writers, currently in the running for a big grant from an initiative called the Gold Futures Challenge, a philanthropy initiative supporting Asian American (AAPI) organizations. Voting ends September 26. You can vote for two other organizations, too! Show your love to small AAAPI community organizations that do important art + community work!
