At Mohawk Honda, we believe that community is built on the journeys we take together. But for many runaway and homeless youth in our region, the path forward is often blocked by circumstances beyond their control.

Imagine being a teenager in crisis, separated from your family, and wondering how you will get to school, attend a doctor's appointment, or access the counseling you need to heal.

Recently, we learned about the transportation challenges facing CAPTAIN Community Human Services’ Runaway and Homeless Youth Shelter. For 25 years, this shelter has been a vital sanctuary for youth in Saratoga County and beyond. Yet, their ability to help these teens heal was restricted by older, high-maintenance vehicles.

We knew we had to help.

Our foundation recently delivered a new Odessey van to the CAPTAIN CHS Youth Shelter. This isn't just a vehicle; it is a lifeline. It represents a warm ride to school, reliable transit to therapy, and access to positive community activities that remind these teens they are valued, supported, and never forgotten.

We are honored to partner with CAPTAIN CHS, but their work requires constant, collective support. We encourage our partners, friends, and neighbors to join us in supporting this incredible organization. Whether you volunteer your time, donate to their emergency food pantry, or support their "Building Brighter Futures" campaign, your involvement makes a profound difference.
