We had SO much fun at our second annual Day of Dance last weekend! Thank you to all of the instructors who volunteered their time, to our education committee for organizing, and YOU, our participants! We hope that you enjoyed brushing up on skills with friends- both new and old!

We are excited to announce another fabulous summer event taking place August 1 & 2 at the Freedom Park stage in Scotia (next to Jumpin Jacks!) Broadway Through the Ages is a high‑energy, 90‑minute musical cabaret honoring 100 years of Broadway magic and a century of theater in Schenectady!

The Hunchback of Notre Dame cast will not be complete without the robust voices of individuals in the choir. These roles will have a more limited rehearsal schedule, but will be fully involved in the rehearsal process beginning no later than early October. We cannot wait to hear this incredible score, brought to life by the most talented voices in the capital region!🔔⚜

🎵CHOIR (Any) As a dramatic feature of this show, there will also be a separate choir, costumed, seated and on book in the balconies of the theater.

❗The Hunchback of Notre Dame is a youth production that will be presented as part of SLOC’s mainstage season. All roles will be cast with performers entering grades 9 through 12 in September.

We are officially one week away from auditions for The Hunchback of Notre Dame! Rounding out the cast and filling many secondary roles are members of the Congregation. 🔔⚜

CONGREGATION (Any) Roma, gargoyles, soldiers, and citizens of Paris. The ensemble in this show is very involved musically and theatrically, and secondary principals (available on our website) will be portrayed from actors within the ensemble in ‘story theater’ style.
