The Taj Mahal brings to Schenectady not only delicious Indian food, but an enriching cultural experience for our customers and our community. Even if you are new to Indian cuisine, there is something for everyone on our menu! Our menu has assorted vegetarian and non-vegetarian options as well as vegan and gluten-free options to suit all dietary needs and preferences! We can also make our dishes as mild or spicy as you please.
Our location in the heart of Downtown Schenectady makes us easily accessible from any direction. We are close to the highway, and close to many Schenectady attractions such as Proctors Theatre, City Hall, The Schenectady County Public Library, General Electric, Off Track Betting, and Jay Street Marketplace. We are also within close proximity to Union College and Schenectady County Community College.
Our lunch buffet hours are Monday-Friday, 11:30am-2:00pm. Our dinner hours are Monday-Sunday, 4pm-8pm. We also participate in the Schenectady Green Market from 10:00am-2:00pm every Sunday.
