We are proud to recognize a group of our current Hawks for making a difference in our community!
These thoughtful and compassionate students worked together to raise money for the Humane Society, helping support animals in need. Through their hard work, generosity, and dedication, they are showing what it means to be leaders and make a positive impact on the world around them.
We love seeing our students use their time and talents to help others. Their kindness, teamwork, and commitment to service make us incredibly proud!

We are proud to celebrate May Howard alumnus Max Gohn!
Max recently graduated from Georgia College & State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and a minor in Rhetoric.
During his time at GCSU, Max was actively involved on campus through several leadership and service roles. He served on the Executive Board of the business fraternity Delta Sigma Pi, worked as Chief of Staff for Student Government, and was employed in the university library throughout his college career.
This summer, Max is continuing to build on his education and experience through an internship with Peachtree Planning in Atlanta.
We are proud of Maxโs accomplishments, leadership, and dedication, and we look forward to seeing all that he achieves in the future.

We are proud to celebrate May Howard alumna Neely Detwiler and her outstanding accomplishments at Mercer University!
Neely graduated Summa Cum Laude from Mercer University with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Criminal Justice. During her time at Mercer, she demonstrated exceptional leadership, scholarship, and campus involvement.
She served as Director of Facility Management for Alpha Delta Pi Sorority and was a member of the Order of Omega Greek Academic Honor Society, Phi Eta Sigma Academic Honor Society, and Alpha Phi Sigma National Criminal Justice Honor Society. Neely also served as Vice President of Phi Alpha Theta National History Honor Society.
A dedicated leader, Neely spent four years actively involved in Mercerโs Pre-Law Society, serving as President for two terms, as well as Publicity Officer and Secretary.
In recognition of her achievements, Neely received the 2026 BEAR Award for Outstanding Campus Involvement and the 2026 Valerie B. Edmonds Award for Undergraduate Research.
Neely is currently applying to law school and looks forward to continuing her academic and professional journey.

We are proud to celebrate May Howard alumna Kate Marsengill and her incredible accomplishments!
Throughout high school, Kate was deeply committed to serving others and making a difference in her community. She served as President of the National Honor Society at Calvary Day School and was heavily involved with LLS (now Blood Cancer United), serving as Chair of Student Visionaries of the Year after previously earning Runner-Up honors for Student Visionary of the Year.
Kate was also a member of the CURE Crew, volunteered for several years at Memorial Childrenโs Hospital, and dedicated her time to the elementary and middle school ministries at Compassion Christian. In addition, she served as an assistant in lower school classrooms at Calvary Day School.
This fall, Kate will begin an exciting new chapter at Georgia Tech, where she will study Biomedical Engineering. Her journey will start abroad at Georgia Techโs campus in Metz, France, for her first semester beginning in August.
Kateโs long-term goal is to become a Pediatric Oncologist, combining her passion for science, medicine, and helping children.
We are incredibly proud of Kate and all she has accomplished. We canโt wait to see the impact she will make in the future. Once a Hawk, Always a Hawk! ๐๐ฆ

We are proud to celebrate May Howard alumna Bella Phillips!
During her time at Calvary Day School, Bella was actively involved in varsity cheerleading, the Game Day Cheer Competition Team, and CURE Childhood Cancer, demonstrating both school spirit and a commitment to helping others.
This fall, Bella will attend Georgia Southern University, where she plans to major in Business Management.
We are so proud of Bella and all she has accomplished. We wish her continued success as she begins this exciting new chapter. Once a Hawk, always a Hawk! ๐๐ฆ

We are proud to recognize May Howard alumna Mary Charlotte Gordon for her outstanding achievements throughout her high school career!
Mary Charlotte graduated from Hart County High School, where she excelled academically, maintaining a 4.0 GPA (100.1 average), earning a class rank of 9 out of 258 students, and achieving a 1320 SAT score. She plans to study Psychology and Pre-Law in college as she works toward her goal of becoming a criminal attorney.
During high school, Mary Charlotte earned numerous honors, including the Rural and Small-Town Recognition Award, the University of Georgia Certificate of Merit, the High Average AP Biology Award, Junior Marshal honors, and multiple Varsity Tennis awards.
She served as Treasurer of the National Honor Society and was actively involved in Interact Club, Anchor Club, Key Club, and Varsity Tennis. She also participated in the Chick-fil-A Leadership Academy and gained valuable experience as an intern at Gordon Law Firm.
In addition to her academic and leadership accomplishments, Mary Charlotte dedicated countless hours to serving her community. Her volunteer work included Reading with the Dogs, Special Olympics, community clean-up projects, food drives, supporting a local womenโs shelter, volunteering at her church, serving at a senior care center, and assisting in an elementary special education classroom.
Mary Charlotteโs dedication, leadership, and heart for service have made a lasting impact on her school and community. We are incredibly proud of all she has accomplished and wish her the very best as she begins this exciting new chapter.

Congratulations to May Howard alumna Julia Tootle on her outstanding accomplishments!
Julia graduated from Islands High School in the Top 10 of her graduating class. During her high school career, she lettered in varsity softball, flag football, and track, served as captain of the Sharks softball team, and earned 1st Team All-Region honors her senior year.
She was a Senior Officer in the National Honor Society, a member for three years, and was actively involved in Student Senate, the SCCPSS Positive Peer Influencer Program, FFA, and FCA.
This fall, Julia will attend the University of Georgia as a recipient of the Zell Miller Scholarship.
We are so proud of all she has accomplished and canโt wait to see what the future holds. Once a Hawk, Always a Hawk! ๐๐

We are so proud of May Howard alum Airman 1st Class Kiley Harvey, who recently graduated! ๐บ๐ธ๐ฆ
Airman 1st Class Harvey shared that after beginning work at Gulfstream three years ago as a mechanic in production on the G650s and now the G800s, she became inspired to join the Air Force because of her interest in aircraft and a desire to branch out into something bigger in life. She joined to become a crew chief in maintenance at the 165th Airlift Wing and is also the first female in her family to join the military! โค๏ธ๐บ๐ธ
Congratulations, Airman 1st Class Harvey, on this incredible accomplishment! Your May Howard family is cheering you on every step of the way. Once a Hawk, always a Hawk! โค๏ธ๐ค
