🔥 STOP WAITING TO FEEL READY.

That goal you keep thinking about? It won’t happen because you want it. It happens when you show up, put in the work, and keep going! Especially on the days you don’t feel like it.

🥋 Set the goal. Chase it. Earn it.

🥋🔥 FRIDAY UNFILTERED

You know you train at Ignite when…

🥋 You throw a kick at the automatic door just to see if it opens faster.

😂 Someone says “break a leg” and you’re like, “Front leg or back leg?”

👖 You own more martial arts pants than actual pants.

🦵 You’ve definitely tried a kick in jeans and IMMEDIATELY regretted it.

😳 You see a perfectly good piece of wood and think, “I could break that.”

🥷 You practice moves in the kitchen until Mom yells, “NOT NEXT TO THE DISHWASHER!”

And the most dangerous sentence ever spoken at Ignite:

“WATCH THIS.” 💀😂

Your turn…

What’s the most ridiculous thing martial arts has made you do OUTSIDE the school?

👇 Confessions only. This is a judgment-free zone.

Mostly. 👀🔥

🎯 OCTOBER LIFE SKILL OF THE MONTH: GOALS 🎯

GOALS: Something you want to achieve and are willing to work toward through effort, planning, and perseverance.

🥋 In Taekwondo, goals give our training purpose. Whether it’s earning your next belt, improving your form, developing a stronger kick, becoming a better sparring competitor, or simply having the courage to try something difficult. Progress starts with setting a goal and putting in the work to reach it.

🌎 In everyday life, goals are just as important. They teach us to make a plan, stay focused, work through challenges, and keep going even when results don’t come right away. Those same habits can help us succeed at school, work, home, and anywhere else life takes us.

This month, we’re challenging our Ignite students to choose a goal and GO AFTER IT. 🔥

Set the goal. Make the plan. Put in the work. Keep going.

🥋💪🏼WARRIOR WEDNESDAY- Andrew 💪🏼🥋
This Warrior Wednesday we are celebrating Andrew! Andy is a green belt in our Karate Kids class and has been showing amazing discipline in his training. Discipline is all about doing the right thing every time even when you might not feel like it in the moment. Every day Andrew comes to class, he consistently shows the same incredible focus by having his eyes on the instructor and works hard no matter the challenge. Way to go, Andrew! Keep it up, sir!

🥋 TRAIN SMARTER TUESDAY: DON’T JUST SET A GOAL—TRAIN FOR IT.

Want a stronger kick? Don’t just throw it 100 times. Slow it down. Fix your chamber. Work your balance. Then add speed and power.

Big goals are reached by improving the small details. 🎯

Train with purpose. Train with a goal. Train smarter. 🔥

🥋 FRIDAY UNFILTERED: Let’s talk about the most dangerous phrase in martial arts…

“Okay, one more time.” 😅

Because somehow “one more” turns into 17 more reps, your legs stop working, and your instructor is still yelling:

“GOOD! NOW DO IT FASTER!” 😂🔥

But hey… we’ll all be back next week asking, “What are we working on today?”

Happy Friday, Ignite! 🥋🔥

🥋 WARRIOR WEDNESDAY — NABELLA 🥋

This Warrior Wednesday, we’re celebrating Nabella! 💙🧡

Earning her brown belt and moving into the Advanced Class is a BIG step! New curriculum, new expectations, and plenty of new challenges.

But when Nabella is faced with something unfamiliar, or even a little scary at first… she faces it head on. She brings a determined attitude, shows incredible perseverance, and refuses to back down or give up. 💪

That’s what being a warrior is all about: doing hard things, pushing through the uncomfortable, and continuing to work toward your goals.

Way to go, ma’am! 👏 We’re so proud of your hard work and the leader you’re becoming. Keep it up! 🔥🥋

🥋 TRAIN SMARTER TUESDAY: SPOT THE TELL 👀

Your opponent might be telling you what they’re about to do… without saying a word.

In sparring, watch for the little habits that happen right before an attack:

🥊 Do they drop their hands before they kick?
👣 Do they shift their weight before moving in?
👀 Do their eyes look toward their target?
🦵 Do they bounce differently before throwing a certain technique?

Those little movements are called “tells.” The more you spar, the better you can become at recognizing them.

But here’s the challenge…

What tells are YOU giving away? 👀

This week, don’t just spar harder. Pay attention. Read your opponent. And make yourself harder to read. 🔥🥋

🔥 MONDAY DOESN’T CARE IF YOU’RE READY.
