Linen jersey is finally here! We’re absolutely smitten with this heavier 199gsm option. It’s the perfect balance of structure and breathability and would make the most beautiful t-shirt dress, a classic tee, or a breezy tank for your warm-weather wardrobe.

How awesome is this fabric? It has pattern, floral AND birds. Jennifer sewed up a McCalls 8662 and had to get creative piecing it together to make it wide enough- swipe to see. We sold out of this fabric fast, but will be getting more in August. We can’t wait to see other garments sewn up in it! Any ideas for other good patterns to make with it?

🪡 Fabric love from the Fiber Snob team. For this week’s Me Made May theme (fabric!), we rounded up our favorites currently in stock. Hand-woven cotton, drapey linen blends, voile, and flannel—these are the pieces inspiring our next makes.

Because we carry a mix of unique and deadstock small-batch treasures, our shelves are always evolving. If you can’t make it into the shop to say hello and feel the fabrics in person, you can browse our latest arrivals and grab these favorites anytime from our online store.

There is nothing quite like a full classroom. We are so happy to see our May sessions filling up so quickly! If a class you wanted is already sold out, please stay tuned—we will be adding more dates soon.

We are especially excited for this month’s projects: learn to conquer knit fabrics with The Lodo Dress, join our beloved Mending Bar to repair your favorites, or sew a sturdy Carry-All Tote.

Don’t forget, our Friday Sewing Studio is open for you to bring your own projects and is a wonderful way to get personalized help. Come sew with us! Link in bio to sign up.
