Back-to-school season can bring a lot of extra expenses for families. Thanks to the generosity of our community, Nation’s Finest - Vacaville was able to help ease some of that burden for local Veteran families.

Every family who walked through our doors received a backpack and school supplies, a coat and socks, haircuts, candy and treats, and a $50 Target gift card for each child to choose something they needed for the school year.

We’re grateful to everyone who has donated so far and helped us put these resources directly into the hands of families who need them.

And we’re not done yet. Our Back-to-School Donation Drive continues through August 28. See the comments below for information on how to donate in person or online.

Veterans deserve a voice in the policies that shape their lives.

Nation's Finest is a proud member of CAVSA, the California Association of Veteran Service Agencies, a coalition of six nonprofit Veteran Service Providers united to advocate on behalf of California's Veterans. Together with our fellow CAVSA members, we recently gathered in Sacramento to advocate for the policies our Veterans need to thrive.

Representing Nation’s Finest, Navy Veteran Jason Majko shared his story with Assemblymember Pilar Schiavo, Chair of the Assembly Committee on Military and Veterans Affairs, to help inform legislative priorities.

With over 50 years of experience serving Veterans and their families, Nation's Finest is dedicated to improving the lives of those who served, addressing their needs at both the individual and state levels. When Veterans and the organizations serving them have a seat at the table, better solutions are possible.

Nation's Finest is closely monitoring the wildfires affecting communities across Northern Nevada.

On August 30th, Mister Peri Peri’s Grill is hosting a Dine & Donate benefiting Nation’s Finest - Redding. 15% of all sales will be donated to help fund local services for housing, mental health, employment, and more.

We are truly honored to have been selected as a beneficiary of this event. Throughout the day, staff from our Nation's Finest - Chico and Nation’s Finest - Redding offices were posted at stops along the course to support and connect with riders.

The start of a new school year should bring excitement, but for many Veteran families, back-to-school expenses can create added financial stress.

To help Veterans and their families start the school year strong, our Nation’s Finest - Vacaville office is collecting donations of adult and children’s backpacks, notebooks, pencils and pens, hygiene items, and gift cards.

Donations can be made in person at 490 Merchant St., Suite 201, Vacaville, CA 95688, Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM.

What if getting help didn't mean scheduling an appointment, taking time off work, and a drive across town?

Our Mobile Service Units break the mold of traditional, brick-and-mortar support by bringing housing assistance, benefits navigation, healthcare resources, and essential supplies directly into the communities we serve.

Earlier this week, our Nation's Finest - Northern Nevada team brought our Mobile Service Unit to the Carson City Sheriff's Night Out, connecting Veterans and their families with the support needed to rebuild with confidence.
