Welcome Pebbles & Bamm-Bamm🐾
Please help us to officially welcome Pebbles & Bamm-Bamm. These darling dogs are settling in and getting lots of TLC after coming into our care last week.
We brought these sweet, young dogs to Muttopia after our partners at Sonoma County Animal Services reached out for support. They were dealing with a hoarding situation and desperately needed space for incoming dogs. We brought this pair in along with three fabulous Chihuahuas.
Bamm-Bamm is missing his hind foot, some toes, and he has a piece of his ear that's been torn off. Despite his injuries, he is enthusiastic about life. Him and Pebbles greet us every morning with lots of tail wags and kisses. Their lives already look a whole lot brighter.

🐾 Tonight we are having a special on-site adoption event (Friday, August 21) at our shelter from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. (1130 Butler Ave., Santa Rosa, CA)
🐾 Then on Saturday we will be at PetSmart in Santa Rosa from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. (1954 Santa Rosa Ave.)

❤️🩹 Benjamin Needs Your Well Wishes ❤️🩹
Please join us in wishing this brave boy a speedy recovery.
This sweet six-month-old puppy was severely attacked in Fresno, leaving both of his eyes injured beyond saving. Today, Benjamin underwent surgery to remove them and repair a large wound.
He did wonderfully and is already feeling so much better than when he arrived in our care yesterday. This evening, we even got our very first tail wag ❤️
You’ve got this, Benjamin. We’ll be right beside you every step of the way. 🐾

Sneak Peek!❤️🐾

Big surgery day today!🐾🩺
We've had two dogs arrive from Fresno in the last week, both in need of urgent surgeries. Last Friday, we took Betty into our care. She was living outside for three years and developed two massive hernias. Sweet Benjamin (aka Benny, Benji, Baby Bennjamin), was flown in by Pilots N Paws yesterday afer being attacked by another dog. His injuries are extensive, including injuries to his eyes that require surgery.
❤️🩹 Today, both of these resilient souls get life-changing surgery. Their futures will be full of love, good health, and dignity. Thank you to everyone who helps us save lives! A special thank you to our incredible partners at Fresno Humane Animal Services for getting these dogs to safety and helping us give them better lives.
Compassion is the answer!

A Little Update on Betty ❤️
Remember sweet Angel, who arrived from Fresno Humane Animal Services a few days ago? Well, she has a new name now, Betty! 🥰
Before coming into our care, Betty’s story was heartbreaking. Sadly, her owner passed away three years ago, and she had been living outdoors in tough conditions on a small patio ever since. Betty has two massive hernias on her abdomen that are in serious need of surgery.
She has already had her medical intake, where our medical team gave her a thorough checkup. Now, she’s in her foster home, enjoying all the TLC, comfort, and kisses she deserves!
There’s still a medical journey ahead for this sweet girl, but for now, we’re just happy to see Betty safe, loved, and finally getting the chance to relax and enjoy being cared for.
Thank you to everyone who makes these second chances possible. We’re so happy to have you with us, Betty! ❤️

Meet Arianna, our incredible Lead Animal Care Technician (ACT), and get a little sneak peek at what feeding 47 rescue dogs looks like.
Our ACTs are the engine that keeps the shelter running. They are the ones who connect with our dogs day in and day out, feeding them their meals, getting them out for kennel breaks, making sure their kennels are clean and cozy, and so much more.
We are lucky to have the best team of ACTs. ❤️
