Fake laughing is so . . . fake. But when it comes to benefits, fake laughing is just as effective as genuine laughter. It increases endorphins. It lowers blood pressure. It improves immunity. It boosts my mood and cognitive function. And unlike medicine, there are no side effects. Except maybe sore face muscles. Today I find a way to laugh. If it’s genuine laughter, great. If not, bring on the fake Hahas!

Every time I receive a criticism, especially if it’s from a wearer of seriously-twisted knickers, I take a moment to consider the source. Are they really talking about me? Criti¬cism leveled at me usually has nothing to do with me. If there is something helpful to pull from the critique, I use it to help me grow. But everything else? Not mine. I send love to the twisty knickers, and I let it go.

Every success story includes failures that were overcome. It’s just the way of things. It’s a rare story that starts off with a dream and flies through to fruition without blocks and challenges along the way. That’s just not how it happens. Today, I remind myself this. I remember that I never fail unless I give up. So I don’t give up. I continue along my way to my goal’s realization. Here I go! Wheeeee!

When I give something away, I should have less of it. But love isn’t like that. Love transcends the normal rules of the material realm. With love, the more I give, the more I have. Indeed, when I make a practice to spend my days sharing love, my life becomes an overflowing testament to the mighty, magical power of love. Today I get myself in the flow of this mighty, magical power.

Love solves all my problems. When I wonder what to do, I ask, What would Love do? When I wonder how to handle a dif¬ficult situation, I welcome Love in. Love guides me whenever I ask it. I remember to ask today. I invite more Love into my life. I welcome It to fully express in me, as me. As I do so, I find Love everywhere I go.

As long as I’m human, there’s a part of me that thinks it doesn’t need Spirit. When I condemn this part of myself, it just makes things worse. Today, I love the ego elf. I send compassion and understanding to the part of me that thinks it can go it alone. That thinks it’s smarter than Infinite Intelligence. There there, little elf. You’re safe. You don’t have to go it alone. I’m here with you. I love you!

Being willing to look silly means I’m willing to let go of control. And if I want to bring new energies and experiences into my life, I need to release control. Today I let go! I try new things, even if it means I look a little silly at first. I follow the flow of the new, watching where it leads. I stay curious. I stay open. I let life surprise and bless me. Before long, I realize I don’t look silly at all. I look blessed!
