A review I received this evening. I’m thrilled to bits that our guests LOVE our place.

The Jacqui’s Wine Country Retreat is as lovely as all the reviews say! This was our third stay and there’s a reason for that- this rental is special. Jacqui is an amazing host. She has thought of everything to make your stay in the wine country great, including the new cooler you can take to keep your wine cool or pack a picnic! She has everything you need from the picnic plates and utensils to the plastic wine cups. Her place is fully outfitted for cooking as well. We had lunch on the beautiful deck serval days. The view is beautiful and it’s very peaceful. The apartment is exceptionally clean, spacious and quiet. Nice fluffy towels, a big shower and lots of water pressure. We think the location is ideal as it’s centrally located to all of the Sonoma Valley and just over the hills is Napa. There are many great restaurants in the area making driving easy at night (The Glen Ellen Star, Ca Bianca, Bird and the Bottle, Walter Hanzel Bistro, Salt and Stone just to name a few). There’s nothing I would change about this rental. If I could give Jacqui’s Airbnb 10 stars I would!

Finally we’ve had some rain! Yay! And a beautiful rainbow to boot. Reservations are open for 2022 and key dates are filling up fast! Book early to avoid disappointment.

The Wine Country Retreat raised beds are producing! Andrew got the stairs finished last weekend. This project has been a lot of work but it’s a great use of the space and we love the way it turned out.

Andrew has been busy on the weekends these past few months building raised beds in the Wine Country Retreat garden. We have planted a variety of fresh, organic fruits and vegetables for our guests to prepare and enjoy in the guesthouse kitchen.
