Did you know that your boy TBR is also an FM Radio show host? Started about six months ago and I absolutely love it! Very much a dying art, on a dying medium, but I'm enjoying it regardless. The best part is getting feedback from the occasional stranger listening in - I even heard that someone was listening from Alaska online!
I'm on every Tuesday night from 9-11PM EST / 6-8PM PST. You can listen live here:
https://rivertheaterradio.com (just click on the play button in the middle of the homepage, it'll take you to the audio page, you have to hit play again - and if you leave the window to do something else, the sound will get glitchy. It's greedy for your attention!)

I know, I've been very neglectful of everyone following me here. I'm very sorry. I'm working on building out the website and making it into something more serious and professional. Baby steps. First up: revising my current most-visited page into something even more attractive, both to visitors and to Google's search algorithm.

Taking Cross Country Road Trips to Celebrate Graduation: A Three-Generation Tradition
My newest post - the first in nearly three years (*GASP*) - is finally published!
Celebratory Adventures: Three Generations of Cross Country Road Trips. To tell this road trip story appropriately, I'm enlisting two other authors: my father (who now goes by "Grandpop") and my daughter (who I call "kiddo"). Together, we three make up the crew who took cross country road trips to celebrate our graduations. Yes, you read that correctly: three consecutive generations of my family celebrated their graduations by taking cross country road trips! ...

In today's least surprising news, it's been six weeks since I last posted. What've y'all been up to since we last checked in? How's everyone holding up?
I'm desperately wishing I had time to be out camping in the desert with my homies this year. I'm not sure if it will happen. The new job is keeping me busy with travel to conferences and other opportunities... and besides, my kiddo is **GRADUATING COLLEGE** in two months... AND she's moving out to California with us!
So, we've already been busy, and it's about to get busier.
Might do a series - if spread out over a few weeks - of camping in the desert shots featuring the fellas. I have the great fortune of having a group of "say yes" guys who are always game for a new adventure, and I actually feel a little like I'm letting them down if I can't get out there this year...

GUESS WHAT!
I'm going to be on Sirius XM radio this Saturday morning! I got an email a few weeks ago from Dave Nemo Show asking me if I would like to be interviewed on their show! I actually thought it was a spam/spoof email and very nearly deleted it... but I'm glad I didn't! Details on how to listen in are on the homepage below. (I'll be on Dave Nemo's show, Saturday morning 7-11AM EST)

Well, in today's annoying news, the last two hours or so of writing I did did not auto-save .... and though I thought I had hit the "publish changes" button before taking a break, apparently that did not work either. I've been struggling to find motivation to write as it is, this doesn't help! 😒😒

This is no bu****it. I'll post a picture of mine along this route in the comments. I've done nearly this entire route, heading north on 550 from Durango, around and back down past Telluride on 145, the onto 160 heading west into Utah. It's in my top five most beautiful drives in America, easily.
