A&B Boxing

This past weekend our boxer Meli Buenimasi stepped into the ring at the National Silver Gloves in Missouri, representing as Region 8 champion. 🥊

Making it to this stage is not easy. It takes countless hours in the gym, discipline, sacrifice, and the courage to step into the ring against the best young fighters in the country.

We are incredibly proud of Meli for earning his place on this national stage and representing our team and community with heart.

Every experience at this level is a lesson. We take what we learn, grow from it, and come back stronger. This is only the beginning for Meli, and we know there are many big things ahead for him.

Thank you to everyone who supports our athletes and believes in the work we’re doing. The journey continues.

🥇 CA STATE CHAMPION 🥇

This weekend our guy Meli put on an incredible performance, facing two tough opponents representing Northern California and coming out on top to earn the California State Championship 👑🔥

On top of that, Meli was awarded Outstanding Boxer, a true reflection of his skill, composure, and heart inside the ring.

With this win, he’ll now be representing California at Regionals, and we couldn’t be more proud of the work he’s put in to get here.

Every fight is a lesson. We’re taking this experience, making adjustments, tightening the details, and continuing to improve — because the work never stops 💪🥊

Proud of you, champ. On to the next one.

Sugabert Tournament Recap 🥊  | Pleasanton, CA (11/21–11/23)

This weekend we brought three warriors to the Sugabert competition, and every one of them represented A&B with heart:

🔥  Coach Brayan – 132 lbs
Took on a tough battle and set the tone for our whole team.

🔥  Devond McGee – 132 lbs (Runner Up)
Battled through the bracket and fought his way to the finals.

🔥  Meli – Sunday Winner
Closed the tournament strong with a big W. This is only the start of what’s coming next for him.

We’re beyond proud of all our guys and grateful for the experience gained through each bout. These tournaments build champions — mentally and physically.

Now it’s right back to work as we prepare for State Silver Gloves in LA next month.

And to the rest of the A&B team: stay ready. More shows are coming, more opportunities ahead.
