Do you know your company’s FTC Subscription Account Number (SAN)? 🤔
If the answer is "our vendor handles that," your business could be facing significant DNC violation risks.
Here’s why:
1️⃣ The FTC requires the entity behind the campaign to maintain its own SAN.
2️⃣ DNC registry access must be directly tied and attributed to your business.
3️⃣ "Pre-scrubbed" third-party lead lists do not excuse you from holding a SAN.
We broke down everything you need to know about getting a SAN, understanding exemptions, and avoiding false compliance.
📖 Check out the full article here:
What Businesses Need to Know About SANs Before Making Telemarketing Calls Relying on a vendor's SAN can leave you open to massive DNC violations. Discover why your company must hold its own SAN and how to properly set it up.

When it comes to TCPA compliance, there are two types of teams:
🔴 The Reactive: Waiting for a complaint, an audit, or a new law to figure out your exposure.
🟢 The Proactive: Structuring compliance early, keeping documentation current, and mapping exposure ahead of time.
The biggest misconception? Thinking that being proactive is more work and more costly.
It isn't.
Compliance follows the same rule as any critical business system: It’s always most expensive when it’s deferred.
If your TCPA strategy has been a little deferred lately, it’s time to get ahead of the curve. Even if you feel covered, a fresh second set of eyes can catch the hidden vulnerabilities that are easily overlooked.

Relying on a lead vendor or third-party call center (BPO) to handle your DNC scrubbing doesn't transfer your compliance liability.
Under the Telemarketing Sales Rule (TSR), list screening must be explicitly tied to the unique Subscription Account Number (SAN) of the organization whose goods or services are being sold.
If it isn't linked to your SAN, regulators treat it as "unattributed scrubbing"—leaving your company fully exposed to TCPA penalties that can reach up to $53,088 per call.
The good news? Getting your own account is straightforward, and your first 5 area codes are completely free.
Stop borrowing registry access and eliminate this hidden compliance blind spot.
