IACP photo dump part 1 I had too many photos I gotta split them up 😂
For all my clients, I’ll be out of town from August 17th to 21st for the international association of canine conference and then from 21st till September 2nd I’ll be visiting family and taking it easy. Feel free to still message me and I’ll set you up for when I’m back in town!
I attend to different workshops/seminars for dog training every year, and one of my favorite things to do is to network and make new friends! It’s so refreshing to be around other like minded trainers and to have an awesome time
Slip leashes are one of many dog training tools I use everyday for my clients and I wanted to show off the biothane leashes made by my friend Michelle Lai-Saun Chu | LA Foodie & Entrepreneur that owns KONOS | Rolled BioThane Dog Training Essentials I highly recommend them and use my discount code: kaninefreedom and see if you like them!
I talk about why walking your dog on a leash shouldn’t be the only exercise they get. Different breeds have unique needs, like Border Collies for agility or hounds for searching, so I believe in providing activities like running, beach trips, and natural behaviors to keep them satisfied and prevent behavioral issues.
I talk about the Dot Card, an electric business card that lets you share your contact info, website, Venmo, and social media by tapping a phone or scanning a QR code. I recommend it for new dog trainers starting their business as a convenient, affordable alternative to paper cards.
It’s my first time using these popular treads for my posts I’m slowly learning to be content creating haha 😆
It’s really important to find a dog trainer that’s flexible and considers what the dog needs over one size fit all mentality. The trainer that worked with the dog I’m talking about had a prong collar on him immediately versus me only working with him on his harness.
There are times where we’re going to be frustrated with our dog’s behavior (pulling on leash etc) but rather then stay frustrated and complain we should invest time into training our dogs to address these issues
