Happy New Year from the Farrow Team! 2022 was fun and challenging - we learned a lot and we are beyond grateful for our team members who keep our operation running. We are excited to carry this ambition into 2023!

Merry Christmas from the whole Farrow Team! We are grateful for our friends, community, and partners who have made our operation here a pleasure.

Throughout Farrow’s history, we’ve had an understanding that all types of projects are beneficial to our growth and success as a company. Construction scopes of all sizes, small and large, will always remain in demand and provide us with the potential to build relationships and build on our industry experience.

John Farrow started his construction company in 1996, performing small remodels and refurbishments. As Farrow repeatedly demonstrated expertise in these smaller projects, the company began receiving more jobs through existing relationships and references. The company began to expand rapidly, both in job volume and job types.

One small job changed the direction of Farrow and opened the company up to the hospitality industry. Wyndham Resorts & Hotels was remodeling a local resort and had one more critical task to complete. The resort’s waste and recycling receptacle enclosure still needed to be built, and the previous contractor decided this portion of the project was too small. Wyndham thus hired John to complete the project, and continued to hire Farrow for additional projects across the United States following the successful completion of the enclosure.

This was a turning point in Farrow’s business. Moving forward, Farrow completed projects for many major international hotel chains, expanding the company’s portfolio to include names like Hilton, Marriott, and Hyatt. While the hospitality industry became a new specialty for Farrow, it also provided the company with job security following the Great Recession. While many builders halted construction due to economic uncertainty at the time, Farrow was able to remain profitable by working in the niche market of hotel remodels.

Although Farrow has grown significantly since 1996, we still understand the significance and importance of every project, small and large. Our success within the hospitality industry stemmed from one small project Farrow completed years prior, and benefited the company for years to come.

Farrow Commercial & Farrow Ready Mix Following the devastating 2017 fires that hit Sonoma County hard, Farrow was committed to rebuilding the community. Unfortunately, as with most builders, Farrow was confronted with slow concrete fulfillment and consequently experienced building delays.

Winery Update: Lots of development on our Adobe Road Winery site in Petaluma! In the last couple weeks, we’ve added drain rock, rebar, and positioned the grease interceptor. We plan to pour the foundation soon and look forward to the next phases in the build process!
