Friday night plans: popcorn, a movie and a whole lot of laughing.

Our Resident Services Coordinator Selena hosted a movie night for the kids in her community, and judging by these pictures, they had a pretty great time.

It may seem like a small thing to give kids something fun to do on a Friday night, but we know these moments matter.

A safe place to hang out. Friends right down the hall. Adults who know their names. Something to look forward to. A place where they feel like they belong.

These are the little moments that turn an apartment complex into a community.

And every kid deserves to grow up with one.

Community is the Intervention.

A huge shout out to Gilroy Self Storage! We are so grateful for the support we have received from them, giving us the opportunity to store furniture and donations that we receive while we get them to the families we support in need! Thank you for all that you do. You guys are wonderful to work with and make such a huge impact in the community. 

Okay, this might be one of our favorite things we have ever done.

This year THRIVE launched our very first Fairy Godparent Program and 62 kids received a new outfit, new shoes, socks, and a backpack FULL of school supplies for the new school year.

Then the pictures started coming in and our hearts just about exploded.

Look at these faces.

There is nothing better than seeing a kid genuinely excited about their new backpack or trying on their new shoes the second they get them.

To our 62 kiddos, we hope you walk into school feeling confident, excited, and so incredibly loved.

And to everyone who helped us make this happen, thank you for being part of their village.

Fairy Godparent Program year one is officially in the books, and something tells us this is only the beginning.

We did it!

Thanks to the incredible support of our sponsors, volunteers, raffle and silent auction donors, golfers, and everyone who joined us, we reached our fundraising goal at the 2nd Annual THRIVE Golf Tournament!
