She had never felt like she had a voice.

Not that she'd lost it. It simply never felt like hers to claim.

Her whole life, she told me, had been writing. Words on a page. But speaking from a place of real strength and wisdom — that had always felt like someone else's world.

In this session, the drawing found it.

Mountains emerged in the image as she spoke. I asked her what mountains meant to her. She said: strength. Beauty. Wisdom. A place of remembering.

And then I watched something shift in her.

"My life has basically been just writing," she said. "And now — now I'm finding a voice."

There's something I believe deeply about this work: we can't solve a problem at the level it was created. We have to rise to the foundation of our own wisdom, our own universal truths, and come from that place. That's what transforms things.

I wanted to share something with you, and a short clip that shows it better than I can explain it.

I spent years watching people work incredibly hard to change their lives. More books. More strategies. More willpower. And still, stuck in the same patterns, the same doubts, the same invisible ceiling.

Here's what I've come to understand: the answers were never missing. They were buried beneath stories we've been telling ourselves since childhood, beliefs we inherited without choosing, fears we learned to call "just how I am."

Our answers are already inside of us. We just can't always see them from where we're standing.

I stumbled onto something during Covid that changes that. When I'd attend other people's workshops, I'd bring paper and pencils and draw; it helped me concentrate. And when another participant would share, I seemed to automatically draw what I heard. At the end, just for the fun of it, I'd show them my drawing. Time after time, they would look at it and have a breakthrough on the very issue they'd been sharing.

I called it Intuitive Wisdom Drawing.

What emerges in the drawing does something remarkable; it brings to the surface a block that's usually been completely hidden from conscious awareness. Not something you've been avoiding. Something you genuinely couldn't see. And once it's visible, we navigate from there, toward the solution that was already living inside you all along.

I'm not the one with your answers. You are. I'm just the one who helps you see them.

A colleague once told me, "It never doesn't work."

In all my years of doing this, I haven't seen an exception.
