Off-Leash K9 Training, LLC is a dog training business who is one of the highest rated businesses in Contact us today to get started!
Off Leash K9 Training is an off-leash dog training business teaching 100% obedience to dogs of all breeds, sizes, and ages. We specialize in private lessons, dog behavior consultations, and teaching owners to understand why their dogs do the things they do in order to create a strong bond between the owner and dog. We thrive off of seeing the joy in both the dog’s and the owner’s faces when they have mastered a new command without the restriction of a leash. By the end of our training, your dog will be trained to have the same level of obedience as most police/military working dogs.

September 11, 2001. 🇺🇸
Today, we remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost on September 11th and the countless families and communities forever changed by that day.
We also remember the first responders, firefighters, police officers, medical personnel, volunteers, and search-and-rescue dogs who ran toward the devastation when others were running away.
These incredible dogs searched through unimaginable conditions—not for recognition, not for reward, but because they were trained to serve alongside the people who needed them.
They searched for survivors.
They searched for the missing.
They brought comfort to those who were hurting.
And they stood beside their handlers through one of the darkest moments in our nation’s history.
As a dog training community, we have an especially deep appreciation for the courage, focus, partnership, and trust these working dogs demonstrated.
We remember the lives lost.
We honor those who served.
We will never forget. 🇺🇸🐾

Building Engagement 🐾
With this Samoyed, we’re working on teaching him that engaging with us = access to the reward!
We’re using a treat-release box paired with a red ball. When he intentionally touches the ball, the box beeps and releases a treat. This creates a clear connection:
🎯 Interact with the target → hear the beep → earn the food.
The goal isn’t just to get him to touch the ball it’s to build his willingness to think, participate, and work with us instead of expecting the food to simply appear.
We’re teaching him that if he wants the reward, he has to engage with the process. 💪🐶
