Building Engagement 🐾
With this Samoyed, we’re working on teaching him that engaging with us = access to the reward!
We’re using a treat-release box paired with a red ball. When he intentionally touches the ball, the box beeps and releases a treat. This creates a clear connection:
🎯 Interact with the target → hear the beep → earn the food.
The goal isn’t just to get him to touch the ball it’s to build his willingness to think, participate, and work with us instead of expecting the food to simply appear.
We’re teaching him that if he wants the reward, he has to engage with the process. 💪🐶
