Canine Companions empowers through service dogs for people with disabilities Canine Companions has been providing service dogs to adults, children and veterans with disabilities since 1975.
As we celebrated National Service Dog Month with a live Puppy Cam in September, a special beagle visited us at Canine Companions - Snoopy! 🐶
It was such a delight to have him explore our campus, mingle with our future and watch our dogs perform tasks that'll one day provide greater independence to people with disabilities. 🐕🦺
We can't wait for you to visit us again soon, Snoopy!

It's the best way to get some time and to see if a puppy raising role is right for you.
Canine Transport and Foster volunteer roles could include:
🚗 Driving or flying puppies to and from the airport or home
🛌 Overnight, weekend or short-term foster for a puppy or dog
🏡 Long-term foster for a dog in service dog training
It's your chance to make an incredible impact without a huge commitment.
Canine Companions provides expertly trained and a lifetime of follow-up services - completely free of charge - to children, adults and veterans with disabilities.

We’re so grateful to the Seattle Seahawks for welcoming us and our for Mental Illness Awareness Week. 💙🐾
The Seahawks staff made the visit truly special by making tug straps for our future teams, putting their creativity to work. In addition, one of our clients and her service dog shared their personal experience and the life-changing impact of their partnership to staff to show the difference her dog has made on her daily life.
Thank you, Seahawks, for creating space to prioritize mental well-being and for welcoming our dogs and our mission! 💙
