Unlike other programs, we do not rely on people sharing their personal experiences of addiction and recovery to inspire change. While moving, this approach falls short because many students don’t see themselves as struggling with addiction (or having the potential to struggle).
Our scientific, evidence-based approach inspires prevention because we connect with the students we serve, and we have the data to influence our instructional design. We share scientific research about cannabis’s impact on teen brain development, academic achievement, emotional wellness, and life outcomes.
We empower students with knowledge about the dangers of substance use and its impact on their growing minds. Rather than imposing a specific path, we let them decide. And over 40 schools so far agree: it works.

Did you know that we can also bring the IMPACT Substance Use Prevention Program to your community? Yes we work with schools and educators, but we also work with community directors and leaders to strengthen their wellness initiatives and create positive results.
Our program shares the science of prevention, encourages real-life dialogue between young people and their parents, educators and peers and empowers your community to change lives for the better.
