* They are often taught within the flow of a choreography class and not broken down within that same class

another showcase in the books. Every single show we do, I walk away in so much awe of what we have all built. Thank you to all who make the studio what is is, the students, the incredible instructors, and of course the wizard behind the scenes (and in front of the scenes too sometimes!)
You all inspire me so much. To see everyone shine I am truly living my dream.

Pole nerd moment incoming…
because the 2025 Craft Your Pole Routine Challenge truly filled my heart and got my creative juices flowin’!
Watching your concepts come to life — from scattered sparks to actual stories with shape — was pure magic.
And not just because of the work you did solo (though, seriously, you showed up in some epic ways)…
…but because of the way you showed up for each other.
The brainstorms, the “ooh what if you tried this?” moments, the encouragement, the deep nerdy convos about story arcs and symbolism and what the pole represents…
That’s the real gold.
I saw brave beginnings. Powerful tableaus. Characters I already want to follow to the end of their story!
It was a week of big ideas, and it was awesome to walk you through it, and witness the magic in the making!
