Growing Great Coaches. Building Better Players. ⚽️💙

Last night was a great night of coach education and connection at Santa Rosa United!

Our coaches came together on the field to learn, collaborate, share ideas, and continue developing the tools they need to create meaningful experiences for our players.

At SRU, we believe player development starts with coach development. Investing in our coaches means investing in the future of every player in our club.

Thank you to everyone who showed up, got involved, asked questions, and brought their energy to the session. We’re proud to keep learning and growing together. 👏

One club. Always learning. Always developing.

FROM SANTA ROSA UNITED TO THE PROFESSIONAL GAME. 🧤⚽️

Congratulations to Devon Taylor, SRU Alumni and goalkeeper, on continuing his journey at the professional level with Oakland Roots.
Devon’s journey is one that makes the entire Santa Rosa United family incredibly proud. From developing as a young goalkeeper at SRU to earning the opportunity to represent the Roots, his path is a great example of what can happen through dedication, consistency, and a commitment to getting better every day.

As a goalkeeper, Devon has embraced the demands of the position…the discipline, the resilience, the leadership, and the courage to make the big moments count. His development over the years reflects not only his talent, but also the countless hours he has put into his craft.

We’re proud of the player Devon has become, but even more proud of the person he is. He represents the values we strive to build at Santa Rosa United: hard work, humility, accountability, and a genuine love for the game.

Seeing an SRU alum competing at the professional level is a special reminder of why player development matters. Devon’s journey is an inspiration to the young goalkeepers and players coming through our club today, showing them that with the right mindset, support, and commitment, the next level is possible.

Congratulations, Devon! The entire SRU family is behind you and excited to see where this next chapter takes you. 🧤💙

Big congratulations to Goal keeper, Devon Taylor, on joining the Oakland Roots SC!

Devon is ready for the next chapter and a new challenge at the professional level.

Proud moment for the entire SRU family!

Welcome to the Roots, Devon! Let’s go! 🔥

💙 FINANCIAL AID CHANGES LIVES.

For some families, financial assistance is the difference between having to step away from soccer and giving their child the opportunity to continue doing what they love.

These parent testimonials are a powerful reminder of why the Santa Rosa United Financial Aid Program matters.

⚽ It keeps kids on the field.
🤝 It supports families.
🌱 It builds confidence, friendships, leadership, and community.
✨ And it gives young athletes the opportunity to grow, thrive, and dream bigger.

And here’s one of the best ways YOU can help make that possible: ⛳️

OUR UPCOMING SRU GOLF TOURNAMENT

Funds from the tournament go directly to the SRU Financial Aid Program.

That means every golfer, sponsor, and donation helps provide opportunities for SRU players and families who need financial support.

Sign up today and play for a purpose! ⛳️💙

Your participation helps keep kids on the field and makes soccer accessible to more families in our community.
