Some times all you need is a frame made: 700c road for 42mm tires and flat mount disc ready.

Up graded the drive train with some beautiful cranks and chainring, cassette, pulleys and derailleur cage. I don’t know if it’s because they’re all shinny and new but damn it shifts great! The 160mm crank arms feel better out of the saddle as well. They feel like they are at an efficient spot at the bottom of the pedal stroke. It’s not so noticeable when I’m sitting and spinning though. Frame and fork are still for sale.

700c disco Allroad with room for 48mm tires. This customer and his wife came all the way from Seattle to meet me and place this order. He’s an architect by trade and this was the first time he ever had something custom made for him. It was a real pleasure and I hope enjoyed the experience. This will soon be built up for a months long European excursion.

From sophisticated Rando to Mtn Rambler mashup. This new configuration suits my wife better; more upright, a bit more rugged, gearing that’s more suitable for climbing and her temperament. 650b wheels with 54mm tires just fit under these very capable center pull brakes while the shifting is seamless across this remixed drivetrain. Thankyou for the microshift hook up👊🏽.

I got to hand deliver this one to a good friend who lives on the Big Island. Way back in the early days he ordered Fitz #3 when I started out building in Hilo, HI. This is a 700c light touring rig with room for 55mm tires, provisions for multiple racks, water bottles and dynamo wiring guides up the fork. The color is called Penny Vein and it’s a hammer tone but the texture is smoother, very unique.
