We are currently open for business:
Every Day 11-4. Paperbacks Unlimited is the oldest bookstore in Sonoma County, serving the community for over 40 years.

With over 100,000 books and audio books on CD we have something for everyone. Our 4,000 square foot store is well organized into book categories and then by author's last name. We sell most books for approximately 1/2 of the publisher's original price plus tax. We deal primarily in used paperbacks and audio books on CD. We also deal in some hardcover books that are not available in soft cover. We

take books in trade for store credit; we do not buy books. Credit value will be calculated at 1/2 or 1/3 of our price, based on condition and need. We accept trade-ins anytime during our normal business hours. Store credit can be applied to 50% of the purchase price. A voucher will be issued for any remaining credit with no expiration date. Our knowledgeable staff is always happy to help you find just the book you are looking for or make a recommendation. Please feel free to come in and browse! approximately 1/3 or 1/2 of the PAPERBACKS UNLIMITED price based on CONDITION and NEED. Books with virtually no value will be credited appropriately. You may NOT trade EVEN! A minimum of 30% of purchase price plus tax must be paid in cash, credit card, or check. PAPERBACKS UNLIMITED deals primarily with paperback or audio books. We do accept only a FEW VERY SELECT hardback books. We do not pay cash for books. Acceptable books may be TRADED for store credit. PAPERBACKS UNLIMITED reserves the right to reject any book. Please ask specifically that we return unusable books, otherwise they may be recycled. Books must be in good condition, fairly current, clean, complete, undamaged, and unmarked. Books with a noticeable odor (to***co smoke, musty, or pronounced perfumery scent) will not be accepted. Books will not be accepted from dealers (Flea Market, Yard Sale, Thrift Shop or Libraries). Credit value will be calculated and a credit slip will be issued. This slip may be used completely or partially at any time. Explanation of credit slips:

1. No part of any credit slip may be used for sales tax (The state will not accept it).
2. Credit slips applied to Science Fiction or CD Audio Books (red price tags) will be limited to the credit values of those respective types traded in.
3. Credit may be applied to a MAXIMUM of 70% of purchase price of any book. The remaining 30% + tax must be paid in cash at time of use.
