Humanity Design Works

We weren’t kidding when we said this client loves purple. 💜
Continuing the tour of this colorful home, you can see how purple was carried throughout the spaces in thoughtful ways, from the furnishings and artwork to the custom details in the kitchen and built in workspace.
One of our favorite features is the Cambria Quartz in Annicca, sourced through Ceramic Tile Center. Look closely and you’ll see beautiful touches of gold and purple sparkle running through the slab. It was such a fitting choice for a home filled with personality and color.
A perfect example of how a favorite color can be incorporated throughout a home while still feeling polished and cohesive.

Can you guess the client’s favorite color? 💜
This 2025 bathroom transformation went from dated and dark to bright, clean, and completely custom. Purple was incorporated throughout the home, and we love how it adds personality to this space while still keeping the overall design calm and sophisticated.

A beautiful example of how thoughtful finishes, lighting, and custom details can completely transform a room.

A complete bathroom transformation designed to feel calm, fresh, and connected to nature.

One of our favorite parts of this space is the incredible natural light from the skylights and the way the greenery inside feels like an extension of the trees outside. The soft green walls, sculptural tile, freestanding tub, and warm wood tones all work together to create a peaceful retreat.

Design details include Crystal Cabinets, beautiful wavy sand tile from Bedrosians, wave pulls from Ashley Norton, and plumbing fixtures from Premier Bath & Kitchen.

Designed for Connection.

For this 2021 remodel, we opened up what was once a separate kitchen and dining room by removing the dividing wall, creating one spacious area designed for cooking, gathering, and entertaining.

Warm wood cabinetry is paired with beautiful Taj Mahal Quartzite and textured tile for a natural, layered look. One of our favorite details is the w**e fridge tucked into the end of the island, keeping it easily accessible from both the kitchen and dining area without interrupting the main workspace.

A kitchen designed not just around how it looks, but around how people actually live together.

A home office designed to make working from home feel a little less like work.

This 2023 project combines beautiful walnut cabinetry with plenty of functional storage, generous workspace, and natural light. The warm wood tones paired with the soft finishes create a space that feels polished, comfortable, and inviting.

A brighter perspective

We love looking back at this 2021 kitchen designed by Kelly. The transformation brought a completely new feel to the space while taking full advantage of the beautiful vaulted wood ceiling and natural light.

The mix of crisp white cabinetry, deep blue lowers, dramatic stone and statement lighting created a kitchen that feels open, elegant and timeless.

Beautiful design is in the details, and this project had some great partners:

Thoughtful design. Timeless living.

Designed by Humanity Design Works in 2019–2020, this home still feels just as fresh and inviting today.

The open kitchen was designed for both cooking and gathering, with the cooktop placed right in the island and an easy connection to the surrounding living spaces. And just through the doorway, that incredible w**e refrigerator might be one of our favorite details.

The living room carries the same warm, modern feel, with custom details framing a beautiful view both inside and out. The primary bath continues the clean, sophisticated palette for a home that feels cohesive from room to room.

A design we still love looking back on.

Featuring

A kitchen where every detail works together.

Designed in 2022, this kitchen combines soft neutral cabinetry, rich charcoal countertops and a statement backsplash that adds just the right amount of movement and personality.

We love the contrast of the darker island against the lighter cabinetry, and how the mix of finishes keeps the space feeling warm, modern and inviting.

Thoughtful details make all the difference.
