Summer is just about here. School is almost out. For many of the families we serve, the loss of school meals means one more thing to figure out each day. Budgets get tighter, routines get harder to maintain, and even basic needs like food and gas quickly become overwhelming.

Through our Nourish Together program, we provide immediate support in the form of grocery and gas gift cards that help families stay stable, keep routines, and remain safely together.

A gift of:

$50 puts food on the table this week
$100 helps a parent get to work and access critical services
$300 supports a full family for the month
When families have what they need, children are far less likely to reenter foster care.

30% of all recipients are in working families.
Nationally, about 25% of active duty military families cannot afford food are receive WIC and SNAP.
Each person receives only $6.22 per day for buying food in CA.
