We are thrilled to announce that internationally recognized human rights advocate Dr. Nas Mohamed will serve as the keynote speaker for the Inaugural Sonoma County Human Rights Summit!
Dr. Mohamed is a Qatari-American physician, human rights advocate, and political asylum recipient whose courageous story and global advocacy have inspired people around the world. As the first openly gay Qatari to seek asylum in the United States, he has become a powerful voice for human rights, dignity, inclusion, and equality.
Join us as Dr. Mohamed shares his journey and insights on advancing human rights and building more inclusive communities at home and abroad.

This free public event will bring together community leaders, advocates, educators, nonprofit organizations, and residents to celebrate diversity, promote inclusion, and strengthen human rights throughout Sonoma County.
The Summit will feature inspiring speakers, a keynote address by Dr. Nas Mohamed, community conversations, cultural presentations, and a Resource Fair connecting attendees with valuable local services.
Admission is free. Lunch provided for pre-registered attendees.
