This week, we bid farewell to Timothy “Tim” Beswick as he steps down after more than 20 years as the Santa Rosa Symphony’s Director of Artistic Operations.

It’s impossible to overstate how much Tim has shaped the Symphony over the years. His knowledge, ability to connect with people, and passion for music have made a lasting impact on this organization and the many people he’s worked alongside.

Thank you for everything, Tim. We’re going to miss you! ❤️

We’re raising a glass to another wonderful evening of Symphony Uncorked! 🍷🎻

Last weekend, we brought chamber music into the wine caves at Deerfield Ranch Winery for the second concert in our annual summer series.

Symphony Uncorked brings intimate performances to local wineries throughout the summer, creating a unique way to experience the Symphony — surrounded by beautiful scenery, great wine and, of course, live music.

We’ve loved sharing these special evenings with our community this summer. 🍷🎶

If you haven’t experienced Symphony Uncorked yet, keep an eye out for next summer’s series!

🎶 That’s a wrap on the 2026 Annual Conference of the Association of California Symphony Orchestras!

From August 6–8, we were thrilled to welcome our fellow California orchestra professionals to Santa Rosa for three days of connection, learning, idea-sharing, and, of course, plenty of music.

The exhibits were awesome, the presentations were rocking, and the after-parties were definitely hopping! We loved having the chance to connect with colleagues from across the state, share what we’re learning, and celebrate the work we all do to keep orchestral music thriving in our communities.

And what better way to bring it all together than with a special performance of Road to Appalachia Featuring Mark and Maggie O’Connor? 🎻

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this year’s conference such a memorable one. Until next time! ❤️
