Beautiful 'heart on sleeve' songs of yearning, poignant lament and hope, making the listener feel like a confidant to a pure, confessional soul - David J
Playing like a soundtrack to reverie, the music of Darwin offers a subdued tone that nevertheless commands attention. With ethereal introspection and haunting vocals, the California artist is able to immerse listeners in a wholly unique experience that crosses the boundaries of genre and compositional tropes. Having collaborated with David J (Bauhaus, Love and Rockets) and Victor DeLorenzo (Violent Femmes), Darwin has crafted a sound that is both nuanced and expansive.
