Join us at the studio on September 25th for Santa’s Workshop Placement Auditions, as well as Maximum Motion Make-up Auditions! If your dancer has any interest in dancing in our winter show, they MUST audition on this date! In addition, if your dancer has any interest in being a part of Maximum Motion Dance Company for the 2026-2027 season, this is their LAST CHANCE to audition!! If your dancer is only wanting to audition for the winter show, and not for Maximum Motion, no worries! You will be able to specify what you are auditioning for while you are at the studio on the 25th! Audition forms can be found and filled out in the studio lobbies throughout the week!

We hope to see lots of dancers at this audition, as we anticipate this year’s winter show to be the best one yet!

Introducing… Ms. Diane!!

MESSAGE FROM THE TEACHER:
“Hi - I’m Ms. Diane, the owner of Windsor Dance Academy. I teach all the Ballet classes and love every minute. I have been dancing for 57 years, ever since my mom started her Ballet studio in 1969. She gave me 2 classes to teach each week when I was 12 yrs. old. At 18yrs. old, I graduated from high school and started my own studio, the Sunnyvale Dance Academy. When I moved to Windsor with my husband in 1989, I started the Windsor Dance Academy. I was pregnant with our first child and kept teaching at both studios until after our son was born in 1990.
My goal in teaching has always been to instill the love of dance in all my students. To have them feel the music through their movement, create dances and become more confident with themselves. It is very important to me that WDA is a happy place for all. I want dancers and their families to feel welcome. Many long lasting friendships have been formed here.”

FUN FACTS ABOUT MS DIANE:

💜 I love making jewelry such as beading and wire wrapping pretty crystals
