Hello and Happy Monday!
Come check out or share the flyer about this SRJC Spring semester dance class taught by Mrs. Lea Brown-Ferguson! 🎶 “Introduction To Dance” (Dance 10.1 and 10.2 combined) is on Mondays and Wednesdays 9-10:30am in the new Dance Room 201, which used to be Dance Room 951!
*The Tauzer Building and Dance rooms are remodeled and FABULOUS! 😍🥰

The course is for students in the community who are interested in learning, or reviewing, the fundamentals of dance in a positive environment. No experience is necessary and anyone is welcome! It explores the basics of Ballet, Modern, Contemporary, Jazz, Hip Hop, and a bit of Improvisation and Choreography.
*One can even take it without the pressure of a grade, if they want, by taking it for Pass/No-Pass. 😊

Please join us in the beautiful SRJC Burbank Theatre on the Santa Rosa campus for a performance that pushes the boundaries of dance as an art form. Includes both SRJC and community dancers! Choreography by SRJC Dance faculty members: Kristen Daley, Tanya Knipplemeir & Carrie Stillman, plus guest choreographers from the greater Sonoma County community.

LUNCH TIME BODY WORK AND HEALING!

Help calm the nervous system and reduce tension through mindful movement

Heals and strengthens joints, tendons and muscles that have been injured or overused.

Focuses on movement patterns to help the body function more efficiently and bring awareness to internal sensations during everyday activities.

Counting down to our Spring Dance Performance, "The Periodic Table of Dance" Friday, May 9th at 7 p.m. & Saturday, May 10th at 2 p.m. & 7 p.m.. Held at the beautiful Burbank Theatre on the CU Campus. Each dance is inspired by an element on the Periodic Table, bringing cohesion and a through line to the performance. Featuring SRJC student-choreographed pieces as well as work by Directors Tanya Knipplemeir (Tanya Tolmasoff) of UPside Dance Company fame and Nzinga Woods. Please join us for an evening of dance that will stimulate your mind and lift your heart.
